WHAT WE ARE LEARNING
In Kindergarten we are Reaching New Heights!
* We are learning to explain the connections between people, events, and ideas
* We are also wrapping up our Lucy Calkins units of study with informative writing.
* We are learning to measure the length, height and weight of objects.
* We are wrapping up our lessons on Rocks and Soil.

Field Day May 11, 8:30-11:00 am Cross Keys High School track/field (parents are encouraged to volunteer)
Ms. Nancy Hill will host “Jack the Rabbit” in her classroom on May 14th
The kindergarten team will welcome Rotary Club Readers on May 17, at our regularly scheduled time.
Last Day of School for all students is May 24th. Please make sure your child attends school up until the very last day!

Please check the STAR Folder EVERY DAY. We have a color-coded behavior system in our classroom, which is recorded in the STAR Folder.

Homework packets are passed out in the STAR Folders on Monday. We expect the packet completed and returned by Friday.
Your child’s teacher may have a monthly assignment in lieu of a weekly packet. Please help you child to complete it on time.
