Are you ready to "Elevate our Wildcat Nation" even higher? Our theme word for the 2023-2024 school year is #elevate. As your hot air balloon guide for the 2023-2024 school year, I am asking that you commit to soaring with me to exceed the goals that you set this year.
I am elated to be the CEO and instructional leader of such an awesome school community. I have 29 years of instructional, and leadership experience with the DeKalb County School District. I am delighted to continue to serve the Brookhaven communities. My heart skips a beat daily, as I witness the stellar level of teaching and learning happening throughout our school.
I am joined by a phenomenal Assistant Principal, Instructional Support Team, and Counselors. In our Wildcat Nation we aim to ensure that we not only meet but work to exceed goals. How is that done? We set goals and work hard daily to exceed them. Each goal is personally created by everyone...neat huh! This goal is met through the tireless efforts of courageous collaboration, teaching, learning, content mastery, and progress. How do we ensure that we stay focused? Simple, by sharing our school and district mission statements daily and re-committing to what it means. Our mission statement serves as a reminder to all to elevate.
This year we have added the components of H-Pride to our daily school commitment. Follow us on our journey to see how we incorporate humanitarian, professionalism, respect, integrity, dignity, and empathy daily.
